Unexpected challenges abound!

The only upside was the staff's willingness to help when we sought solutions. They tried to accommodate us by showing a different room, which did have some signal. It was nice to see such caring people, even amidst the chaos.

Convenient location, a few steps away from everywhere. Comfortable beds, central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a microwave oven in the room.

I was happy with hotel's comfortable location close to state park. The venue had updated and neat rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel's staff were affable all the time. Location: the property was just next door to Hill Country tourist area and Johnson City and hill country. There were a wide range of restaurants to eat, like El Charro Restaurant that was only 25 minutes' walk away: D

Sewage smell made it unbearable to stay.

my stay was upgraded with the hotel's great access to the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park Visitor Center, just under 2 km away, and the beautiful Pedernales River Nature Park, providing perfect spots for weekend walks and explorations.

The nearby state park offers excellent hiking opportunities, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The price is attractive for those on a budget.

The room cleanliness left much to be desired, with stained sheets and a musty smell making it uncomfortable, while the pool area looked neglected and overrun with debris. The experience felt chaotic, leaving little room for relaxation.

The Queen Room offered a nice view of the pool, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the room had several issues, including a TV with no signal and cold drafts from poorly fitting doors. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The access to nearby hiking trails was a plus was good.

Just a smart choice for a swift stopover in Johnson City with very good value for money. The furnishings might be outdated, but the price makes it bearable. Bring your own snacks since no dining options are readily available.

If you're looking for local eats, you can't skip Hill Country Cupboard-it's just a hop away and serves up some mighty fine BBQ that'll make your taste buds dance. Not to mention, the Queen Room with Pool View had us ideally situated close to the park we wanted to hike. Perfect for culinary explorers!

I stayed in the Queen Room with Pool View for a night. The first room had three spots where the door didn't seal, so cold air was coming in, and the TV had no signal. I moved to another room, but it had the same TV issue. Not great at all.

Close to hiking trails. Room with pool view offered decent space. I appreciated the vintage keys instead of cards. It had air conditioning that worked well. Great choice for a simple stay 🌟

The double room had a great view of the swimming pool and having a microwave and fridge was a big bonus.

The room had more charm than my grandmother's knitting club, with easy access on the first floor, making it easy to get to after a long day of exploring.

A little more attention to cleanliness would help.
